Information you post, such as comments and feedback, is not covered by this policy.

The Notes does not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to unrelated third parties, unless we have your prior permission, or the third party provides services to you jointly with The Notes and is barred from access once those services end. To serve you, we may use your email address to send you information you may find useful, including notices about new notes and event reminders (by email or in-site notification). Processing purposes include: account registration and sign-in, providing the notes content service, payment and billing, and customer service and notifications. The legal bases for processing include: performance of our service agreement with you, your consent, and requirements of laws and regulations.

Who We Share Information With (including our payment provider)
To complete payment and billing, we provide the information necessary to process a transaction (such as order information, payment amount, and the email address used for reconciliation) to our authorized payment service provider, Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for payment, tax, and refunds. We may also provide the minimum information necessary to technical service providers that supply email delivery, cloud storage, and security services. These recipients may process the relevant information only within the scope of the tasks entrusted to them.
Storage and Retention
Information collected by The Notes is stored on servers of The Notes or its partners for the purposes of this service. We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes above: account information is retained while the account exists; after account closure, it is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where laws or regulations require retention (for example, transaction and tax records).
Your Rights
